Mitzvah & Tzedakah Projects

Bar/Bat Mitzvah

We offer students an opportunity to sponsor puppies for their Bar/Bat Mitzvah Projects or Class Tzedakah campaigns. It costs $1,000 to supply food and medicine for a puppy during the first year. Many students have found creative ways to not only raise funds – but also help raise awareness of the needs of Israel’s visually impaired – and the critical role of guide dogs.

After selecting us for their project, students will learn about the needs of blind or visually impaired people and the obstacles they must overcome. We want them to feel connected to a fantastic project in Israel and know that – through their effort – they are helping people in need. We also hope they visit our center in Israel, where they can see the results of their hard work.

School Visits

We love visiting classrooms! We’ve developed a comprehensive curriculum for classrooms K-8 to understand visual impairments better, guide dog training, and partnership. As our clients and their dogs visit Canada at least once a year, you can arrange for us to visit your classroom and meet our two-legged and four-legged friends.
