Design Expert and Activist Shai Deluca and Paralympian and Guide Dog Client Achiya Klein and his dog, Joy
Shai Deluca
Shai DeLuca, founder of SHAI DELUCA INTERIOR DESIGN, is a Canadian-Israeli designer known for his work across Canada and Tel Aviv. A regular on Global’s The Morning Show and Citytv’s Cityline, Shai blends design expertise with an approachable style. Since 2014, he has also used his public platform to advocate for Israel and combat Antisemitism. Since October 7, he has spoken at dozens of events to inform and inspire Jewish communities worldwide.
Achiya Klein and Joy
Achiya Klein, an Israeli veteran and former officer in the IDF’s elite Yahalom unit, lost his vision in 2013 during a mission in Gaza. Since 2015, he has partnered with a guide dog and gone on to represent Israel in Paralympic rowing at the Tokyo 2021 Olympics. Achiya holds a master’s degree in Counterterrorism and Homeland Security from IDC Herzliya.
